There wasn’t one story that I would rate above a 2 Most of the stories weren't love stories and many were strange Not a read I would recommend Unfortunately I'm stubborn so I finished it but honestly I want my time back

Disclaimer I received a copy of this novel in return for my review This collection of short stories was perfect for when I didn’t have much time like being stuck behind a train or while waiting to pick to my son from school Jennifer kept me wanting to read after each one This collection of romantic comedy lighthearted stories is sure to delight readers When you need a good laugh and still want to incorporate some romance into your day pick up this novel and read a story to put a smile back on your face and get you going again one of my favorites was 'Perwinkle 26' It makes reading all those tabloid stories seem less believable lol I was able to read this one at a long light just don't tell anyone Jennifer's take on 'love' is refreshing and had me laughing out loud as made my way through the novellas This was the first novel or any sort I have read by Jennifer and it won't be the last

Jennifer Lafferty offers us an eclectic mix of relationships that are as the title suggests offbeat From the twist in the tale sketches like `Periwinkle 26' to the sparks and prickles of `Choices' and then on to longer stories like `It happened in the Mall' with the dynamic of sexual tension and jealousy that eventually makes way for a perceptive and tender conclusion Lafferty doesn't let us draw conclusions too early hence the title of the collection As the reader we are provided with a privileged view in to the motivations and desires hopes and fears of the dynamic of romantic love in all its forms

I don't write many reviews but this book is so amateurish so totally without merit that I must In a high school English class I'd give it a C Weak character development weaker plots and cringe worthy grammar Just terrible
