I really liked this book and the reason it got three stars rather than four is that the story just stops The characters were interesting and likable and I enjoyed their backstories It's not a spoiler in a romance novel to say that at the end they are in love and decide to stay together The problem is that I cared about how the issues in the backstories were going to be resolved but the book just ends It's not a cliff hanger but it's incomplete The book seemed to be missing the final chapter or an epilogue

  2. Geli Geli says:

Cute story Slightly on the repetitive side but still a good read Kinda wish they had ended it differently with Tara finding out about her mother But the story was kind of starting to drag on so I understand ending it where they did Wouldn't mind reading another by this author

  3. Lori Lori says:

Fun road trip story Boone and Tara are neighbors Tara is moving back home to Florida and Boone needs to get to Florida to stop his sister from getting married Boone is still recovering from any injury he sustained while serving in the military He can't driveso he hitches a ride with Tara So many laugh's along the way I loved these two characters

Lori Wilde is one of my favorite romance writers Her books especially her 20 Blaze books are well developed romances with a fair amount of semi explicit sexual content Her descriptions of the sexual encounters are not pornographic but somewhat explicit at times But the sexual encounters are necessary for the story There is no gratitous sex It always fits perfectly into the story line And above all else Lori is a fantastic story teller She has many other non Blaze books that are exceptionally fine stories Lori is among my top 3 favorite authors These 3 writers cannot be ranked 1 2 3 as they are eually great Night Driving is the first book in her Stop the Wedding series Smooth Sailing is the second in the series that came just came out Both of these books are about differenf persons determined to stop the same wedding the first is her half brother Night Driving and the second in a good friend who thinks he is in love with her but finds his true soulmate sailing toward Key West as does her half brother Night Driving who finds his true love while being driven a couple of thousand miles to his half sister's wedding Two fantastic stories The third book Crash Landing comes out on April 1 of this year It appears to be another person trying to stop the same wedding Very enjoyable reading I recommend anything Lori has written Especially her various series books

Night Driving is by Lori Wilde This is a really uick book to read and one just maid for reading on the go It is a cute book and I liked it Boone Toliver a former army captain has to get to the Florida Keys in time to stop his sister’s wedding to a man she has known for only a couple of weeks He knew the pain of a divorce and didn’t want his sister to have those same pains His problem is that he is in Montana just had his knee operated on for the third time The doctor said no flying and he is unable to drive himself to the doctor’s much less anywhere else His only ride seems to be with the girl across the street She is driving to Miami after she packs out her house The only problem is she needs to leave a day earlier if she is to get him there in timeTara Duvall is a very beautiful young lady with long fantastic legs She has lots of friends has lots of parties and is always looking at things in a lovely sight Boone has deliberately turned Tara away from a friendship with him He thinks she is pretty much a “dumb blonde But he has to convince her to pack out a day early so they could leave How can Boone last for days in a small car with it’s nutty driver? Will Tara survive without killing her up tight passenger? This is simply a great fun novel

Well written with a great storyline I loved watching the chemistry develop between these two opposites Tara's perky personality is a perfect complement to Boone's moodiness The story was at times dramatic and at times hilarious Who knew there were so many things that could go wrong on a road trip It was intriguing to witness the sexual chemistry between these two as they developed a real relationship Next read Smooth Sailing Book two in the Stop the Wedding series Book supplied by the author for an honest and fair review

I couldn't put the book down from the start till the end Its a very funny story between two very different people travelling together when mercury was in retrograde Very well written story with deep emotional scenes of understanding ones survival mechanism in this difficult world This is a no nonsense romance and I loved reading it

  9. Shh I& Shh I& says:

I didn't care about the characters and by the time I got halfway through the book decided it wasn't worth continuing I've enjoyed Wilde's books in the past but definitely less than impressed with this one

  10. JOCA JOCA says:

Because the hero found the heroine annoying that was how she came across and it became hard to connect with her I also found it hard to buy into their HEA when prior to a road trip over several days he was so annoyed by her Because of these issues I ended up skimming through this
