I found this book very interesting Emotionally I would love to believe in Angels, a personified God but I have too much of a scientific mind Moolenburgh makes some very interesting points about beliefs and the way we are treating our bodies and our world that everyone should agree with He seems to have an open thought process about other religions and other ways of expressing christianity that is not judgmental, that I found refreashing There were a few places that I thought he was just rant I found this book very interesting Emotionally I would love to believe in Angels, a personified God but I have too much of a scientific mind Moolenburgh makes some very interesting points about beliefs and the way we are treating our bodies and our world that everyone should agree with He seems to have an open thought process about other religions and other ways of expressing christianity that is not judgmental, that I found refreashing There were a few places that I thought he was just ranting and wasn t staying on topic but overall I found the book interesting I would highly recomend this book for someone who believes in angels and considers themselves spiritual with a bend towards christianity

Translated from Dutch published in 1984 regarding an MD s personal inquiry into the existence of angels this is probably my most exciting book find as its very unlikely I d find it if I went looking for itI found this book in a most mysterious way In a small suburb in my town where I occasionally go as it has a pretty Village with one road of shops a cinema bar and one junk shop I say junk but it really is full of treasures but it is very hard to find them The best description i can give is Translated from Dutch published in 1984 regarding an MD s personal inquiry into the existence of angels this is probably my most exciting book find as its very unlikely I d find it if I went looking for itI found this book in a most mysterious way In a small suburb in my town where I occasionally go as it has a pretty Village with one road of shops a cinema bar and one junk shop I say junk but it really is full of treasures but it is very hard to find them The best description i can give is that it is like the Room of Requirement HP Nothing is displayed in the usual sense of a shop it s just plonked and piled in no particular order and it is quite overwhelming and chaotic The formidable person who owns it has an eagle eye though and knows her Wedgewood from her Avon So the book entering the shop on a Saturday morning was not crowded I chose one small corner at the front of the narrow walk in walk out area If someone wants to leave you have to push up against the piles of stuff which seems to work I think people are in two groups regarding this shop One group who love a challenge and another who almost shudder as they leave immediatelyonce they get inside I looked through a jumble of books and china plates glassware a pair of gold shoes a piece of Wedgewood I held just a fraction too long are you interested in Wedgewood Ah no just making sure I put it over here on this shelf I proceeded to put a pile of books into a basket at the entrance leaning out and back in And then after 30 minutes of sorting I can t help myself chaos demands some structure I picked up this book lovely
