The True King of Dahaar I m always a sucker for a reunion romance and this one has all the angst you could ask for Azeez was the Crown Prince of Dahaar and as a young man fell deeply in love with Nikhat, a friend of his sister They made promises to each other and then she walked away, breaking his heart.Nikhat made the choice for what she thought were good reasons but it set in motion a series of events that almost destroyed not just Azeez but the whole royal family. Now Nikhat has been brought back to Dahaar by Princ I m always a sucker for a reunion romance and this one has all the angst brought back to Dahaar by Prince Ayaan His story is told in The Last Prince of Dahaar to try and help Azeez who refuses to take his place as prince His injuries need medical help but it s his mind that needs changing. This is a dark and angsty story Azeez and Nikhat have so much history, so much pain and guilt and Azeez is so bitter about her desertion that the pair of them meeting again is bound to be explosive.I really loved this story It s not really enjoyable as such, but the emotion is well done and you feel for the pair of them and want them to get their happy ending.Small spoiler Neither were entirely faithful in the eight years apart which is why I couldn t give the extra star This book is a wonderful surprise I am not one to try new authors But I won this book at a contest or anyone reader who would like to experience Presents It has the elements of what we love in Presents alpha male hero, glamorous setting, and fierce passion 3.5 5The Last Prince Of Dahaar is the second part in A Dynasty of Sand and Scandal series and can be read as a standalone I liked this one better than its prequel, especially the last few chapters which were written beautifully and had the intensity, the story required.Azeez is not an easy hero and at the start of the story you can see he is suffering very badly His past is unfortunate and he did not take the rejection from Nikhat in a good way He thought she was choosing her dreams over him 3.5 5The Last Prince Of Dahaar is the second part in A Dynasty of Sand and Scandal series and can be read as a standalone I liked this one he is suffering very badly His past is unfortunate and he did not take the rejection from Nikhat in a good way He thought she was choosing her dreams over him When Nikhat re enters his life after eight years, there are loads of issues to be sorted between them This resulted in this story being a very much angst ridden and somewhat treading on the darker side type of story.Nikhat is a obstetrician and a strong heroine who is very comfortable with her own sexuality I liked her overall and thought her decision of leaving Azeez was not that grave She should have told him the real reason for leaving him and parted on a better terms, but personally I thought it was her life and she had the right to choose it the way she wanted to live the same.Read More oh wow, this was emotional, angsty and in a story based on fantasy country, so realistic..the author didn t pull any punches on what Azeez and Nikhat went throughand the epilogue made me cryam going to re read this one Exotic locales and ostentatious riches enhance this disturbing, poignant second chance desert romance The willful, broken Arabian prince and offbeat Middle Eastern heroine doctor both harbor destructive secrets and thwarted passion in this painfully sincere twist of fate tale RT Book Reviews, 4 1 2 stars.Miniseries A Dynasty of Sand and Scandal This book is a wonderful surprise I am not
